Heartless Records President Eric Lipscomb grew up with Virginia Tech Hokies basketball man, Superstar Malcolm Delaney. Eric and Malcolm grew up in the same neighborhood together. They remain good friends.

Heartless Records' biggest rival is 300 Entertainment, owned by Kevin Liles, Lyor Cohen and Todd Moscowitz. CEO Kevin Liles and Heartless Records Eric Lipscomb came from Baltimore.
